WECHS Master Supply list for 2008 Fall Semester

*This is a general list – Teachers may request additional items

All students should have a flash drive for saving work

All Classes: 1 Flash Drive

Personal Health and Wellness:

·         Notebook paper

·         1 notebook for journaling

·         1 3-ring binder

·         Blue and /or black pens and number 2 pencils

·         I suggest but  do not require 1 box colored  pencils, calculator, 1 ruler

  

Prin. Business and Career Management:

·         Index cards

·         Flash drive

·         Post it notes

·         3 subjects with pockets interactive notebook

·         Colored pencils

·         glue sticks

·         1 marble covered composition book

·         Scissors 

World History and Geography:

·         A 2-inch three ring binder

·         10 dividers with tabs

·         Supply of  black or blue pens (no other colors are acceptable)

·         Loose leaf note book paper

 

 Biology and Chemistry (10th grade)

·         3 Ring binder and loose leaf paper.

·         At least one sheet protector or gallon ziploc bag.

·         Blue/black ballpoint pen or pencils-pens Must Not be water soluble.

·         Cheap stick ballpoint pens are prefect!

·         Scientific calculator -Must Contain A [LOG] And [EE]-OR- [EXP] button.

·         Home internet access OR a library card.

  

Earth Sciences (9th Grade)

·         1-2 stitched composition notebooks (2 if you write large; 1 otherwise).

·         Graph paper.

·         Calculator (TI-84 Plus is recommended for math classes) Must contain a [LOG] And [EE]-OR- [EXP] button.

·         Blue/black ballpoint pen or pencils-pens Must Not be water soluble.

·         Cheap stick ballpoint pens are prefect!

·         Internet access OR a library card.

·         Recommended Scissors and Tape/Glue/glue stick.

 Geometry

·         Pencils

·         Notebook with at least 3 sections

·         Compass

·         Protector

·         Colored pencils

·         Graphing calculator

Honors Algebra I & II and Honors Geometry classes

·         DO NOT PURCHASE ANY MATERIALS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN TO CLASSES AT LEAST ONCE!

·         Pencils

·         Composition notebook- this will be used for warm –ups and will not leave the classroom

·         Spiral notebook –this will be used for all classwork and practice work; so it needs to be very sturdy. I recommend one with a plastic front cover and heavy cardboard back cover like the Mead Five star one subject notebook. ($1.50 at Wal-Mart right now) be sure to get the one that measures “11x8 ½”

·         Graph paper/ glue stick

·         Notebook with at least 3 sections

·         TI graphing calculator

 

English I & II

·         3 ring binder

·         A flash drive

·         Pen and or pencil

·         A journal

·         2 Ink pens black and blue only (theses are the only accepted colors)

·         2-2inch binders (portfolio)

·         5-yellow dividers

·         Loose leaf paper (college rule)

·         2 -# 2 pencils (or mechanical pencils )

·         1-11”X8 ½:” college rule 80 page 1 subject notebook

 

Spanish I & II

·         2 - #2 pencils or mechanical pencils e equivalent with erasers

·         2 - Pens (only black or blue acceptable for work to be submitted)

·         1-red pen (to make correction)

·         1 pack of highlighter markers (at least 3 markers in pack )

·         3-100 packs of 3x5 index cards

·         1- 1inch binder ( no larger please )

·         College ruled notebook paper

·         1 -2 pocket folder

·         USB flash drive (to save work done on computers)

·         Access to the intern (either at home, at nearby library, etc.)
